Inside Sales: Our inside sales representatives sell individual conference and classroom seats to HCI members in the most progressive, market-leading corporations and government agencies across the U.S. This is a high volume, high velocity sales model that seats hundreds of events every year, and leads to fast, lucrative upsell and cross-sell opportunities for our reps.

Entry-Level Sales: A terrific career-starting opportunity for aggressive, ambitious self-starters who want to create a high-paying career with a world-class organization. This position includes active sales training, as well as database management, lead generation, scheduling and other support and pre-sales activities.

Both positions are for energetic self-starting winners, who are ready, willing and eager to make 80+ calls a day, build relationships fast, and routinely go above and beyond the call of duty to impress our clients and close deals.

Research Contractors

HCI is looking to build relationships with a small, select number of independent research contractors who would be hired to complete components of our research studies, including survey design, statistical analysis and report generation. These consultants would be hired on a rotating, as needed contract basis to partner with us to complete specific research projects of fixed duration, usually 3 months long.

Requirements:

  • Graduate level training in a social science related discipline, with an emphasis on survey design, research design, and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in B2B research, content, and insight generation
  • Excellent writer
  • Acute business acumen and knowledge
  • Experience in the commercial (non-academic) sector, such as research companies, management consulting companies, or market research companies
  • Successful track record in B2B research, management consulting, or similar background
  • Experience with SPSS or similar package
  • Strong analytical skills that produce insightful, actionable and engaging insights for a senior executive audience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a track record for meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Self-directing; able to work with little direct supervision

Location: Work requirement may be filled remotely but prefer Cincinnati, OH.

Junior Drupal Software Developer

HCI has an immediate opening for a Junior Drupal Software Developer to join an efficient, distributed team working on our large website with a broad range of functionality. HCI’s technology team is committed to continuous improvement using agile practices, automated deployment, and git-driven revision control.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with team to deliver programming for the HCI website in the following languages: PHP, SQL, HTML, Javascript/jQuery, CSS
  • Use Linux command line and bash scripting for website deployment and maintenance tasks
  • Use Git to manage version control

Required Skills:

  • General coding experience with SQL, PHP, CSS, jQuery
  • Drupal framework knowledge and experience; Drupal 6 experience is preferred
  • Fast learner — demonstrates an openness to learning new things, has a high-capacity to learn on-the-job
  • Is flexible — demonstrates a willingness to work outside the strict job description parameters, thinks creatively about how to provide the highest level of quality output
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
  • Ability to work independently and with a team

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in related position

Location: The position is full-time and preference is proximity to one of HCI’s offices in Cincinnati, OH or Wilder, VT, although remote developers are also encouraged to apply.

Senior Director of Product Development and Client Services — Enterprise Practice

Senior Directors in our Enterprise Practice perform a combination of three vital roles. First and foremost, they create new research, decision support tools, and diagnostics that help our clients implement solutions to their human capital problems. Second, they help our clients take advantage of HCI's rich array of integrated resources. Third, they help grow the practice by helping our dedicated sales team understand a potential client's need and how HCI can address it.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new research, content, decision-support tools, and diagnostics in the area of human capital management drawing from HCI's rich library of more than 3,000 proprietary video-based case studies and interviews of leading executives and their companies
  • Help onboard, manage, and serve senior executives in HCI client companies
  • Support HCI sales staff in identifying and closing HCI prospective clients
  • Develop, maintain and extend personal expertise in all aspects of strategic talent management

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary for these positions is competitive and depends on prior experience and potential for growth. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included.
