Outbound Sales Manager / Director of Audience Development
Location: New York, NY

Job Description

This is a terrific career-starting opportunity for an aggressive, ambitious self-starter who wants to create a high-paying career with a world-class organization. The director of audience development pitches and closes individual conference and training sales, all over the telephone. S/he is responsible for matching executive clients with our opportunities, meeting/exceeding sales goals and doing it all with a superior attitude and style. We’ll train you on our system and products and offer great leads, tools and support. You’ll use these resources to build relationships, ideally creating a portfolio of senior, repeat buyer clientele.

This is a position for an energetic self-starting winner who is ready, willing and eager to make 80+ calls a day, build relationships fast and routinely go above and beyond the call of duty to impress clients and close deals. Online Content and Community Manager
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Description

The Online Content and Community Manager at Human Capital Institute (HCI) will work to connect HCI content and external users- existing or prospective HCI members- via web, social and other digital platforms. Special attention will be made to increase engagement especially among existing members. The Online Content and Community Manager will source and produce interesting, relevant and timely issue-driven content (webcasts, podcasts, blogs, etc.) for a senior executive audience. S/he will become and stay expert in the industry and issue space, staying ahead of trends and keeping company at the forefront.

Primary Tasks:

  • Develops content based on own understanding of most-pressing issues in the space.
  • Sources, networks and engages external, appropriate subject-matter experts to contribute to digital content.
  • Curates content in HCI’s extensive digital library. Discovers and adds new content from external sources.
  • Oversees content and social aspects of HCI’s community of members. This includes working with the community platform vendor to address, resolve, and communicate any issues related to the features and functionality of the community; providing technical support to members and staff; implementing new community features as necessary.
  • Works to develop and implement community promotion and engagement strategies and tactics as they relate to the community and the organization’s strategic goals. Communicates and promotes community content. Tracks, measures, creates reports on engagement, outreach, content connection and outcomes.
  • Works with marketing and other organizational departments to coordinate community postings as appropriate across the organization’s digital channels.
  • Monitors discussions, resource postings, and trends within the community. Identifies and reports trends in usage and advises on potential opportunities. Alerts appropriate staff as issues arise and work to resolve issues.
  • Networks with community members and identify Community Champions. Train and empower Community Champions to participate on a more significant engagement level.
  • Monitors and measures the success of community engagement (i.e. number of power users, number of discussions, etc.), and provides reports for executives.  Identify and report on community trends.
  • Contributes to related communication vehicles and ensure the integration of community for promotion and awareness building.


  • 2-5 years of experience in related business model and tasks. The best candidate will have expertise in human resources, business strategy and communications.
  • Experience creating, implementing and measuring social or other digital content campaigns, including choosing appropriate platforms, tools and reporting success.
  • Is a technology native — possess superb web, SAAS, and social media skills. Preference given to candidates experienced in managing content in Drupal environment. Additional preference given to candidates with digital production experience in podcasting, webcasting and video editing.
  • Finds joy in service — to each other, our clients and underwriters
  • Exception verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. Experience working with AP style preferred.
  • High levels of integrity, maturity and confidence. Must be able to perform the majority of work without direct supervision and preference given to those who excel in autonomy.

Sales and Marketing Automation Coordinator
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Description

The Human Capital Institute (HCI) is seeking to hire a Sales and Marketing Automation Coordinator. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Customer Intelligence, and will work along-side the sales and marketing teams who are continuously developing reports and tools for the HCI sales team to help them support revenue goals.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Marketing and Sales Automation Coordinator at HCI, you will be responsible for sending out email blasts on behalf of our Inside Sales team through Eloqua; updating leads and contacts in Salesforce.com along with other data cleansing duties using various tools and methods.; assisting the inside sales team with Salesforce.com reports; and supporting various other projects to help support success of HCI.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and send email campaigns
  • Develop and pull lists from Salesforce.com and Eloqua
  • Assist in maintaining Salesforce.com database integrity
  • Sales and Marketing automation
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Departments to add value
