There are plenty of articles on the Internet touting how employee referrals are the most efficient hires, being cost effective, having greater job satisfaction and having longer average lengths of employment. The truth is that it is true. Referral applicants have a remarkably high apply to hire conversion rate. While job board and career site applicants have a rate of less than one percent, 7% of all referral applicants are hired. more »
