The Twain Shall Meet: The Human and Financial Sides of Capital

The Twain Shall Meet: The Human and Financial Sides of Capital

Research: December 1, 2007

At first glance, the terms "financial services" and "human capital" don't appear to have much in common. But take a closer look and one may find that the business strategies incorporated into Financial Services groups greatly benefit from the integration of human capital. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP provides industryfocused consulting services for private and public clients. Their main arms include Advisory, Audit and Assurance, Tax, Human Capital, and Transaction services. PwC is a global firm, with over 140,000 partners and staff in more than 140 countries, allowing them to service a variety of clients from around the world. The Human Capital Services group at PwC believes that an integrated approach is best when mixing financial services business strategy with human capital. In this presentation, Directors Monica Oldham and Christine Ayers, through a series of poll questions, examine the human capital needs of financial service groups, and present case study examples showing how their integrated approach works.
