HCI Online Talent Communities

What's Here?

A Taxonomy for Talent Management

HCI Online Talent Communities offer an organized interface to the sea of information about human capital, talent management and leadership. HCI members are linked to the most compelling thought leadership, best practices and innovative new ideas published by expert advisors, universities and business schools, industry media, global consultants and colleagues around the globe.

HCI's library is continually growing, with hundreds of new research reports, white papers, blog articles, discussions, podcasts, ebriefings, video files and other information assets added each week. Some are up-to-the-minute news, others are older documents, yet no less valuable in content or perspective. Members can search the library, browse directories, or consume information as it bubbles up into communities, practice areas and global region.

Onling Talent Communities
Talent Strategy, Acquisition, Development and Leadership Communities are organized into key topics, with associated learning tracks that span the most important issues in each. Learning tracks contain a collection of current and archived webcasts, podcasts and ebriefings, as well as news, blogs, discussions and research.

Practice Areas
Talent management and leadership issues vary from industry to industry, and across functional boundaries. Practice Areas present webcasts, research and content, organized by vertical market sector, industry and discipline.

Global Regions
Regional learning tracks collect talent management and business ideas from around the world. Drill down by global region and country to find local thought leadership and diverse perspectives that are shaping the global conversation about human capital strategy and practices.

Library and Directories
The HCI library contains over 50,000 print, audio and video files. Browsable directories include HCI research studies, white papers, ebriefings, webcasts, blogs, discussions, videos and access to expert advisors. These premium (and formerly proprietary) resources are now available to all HCI members. Assets can be rated, shared, tagged, discussed and saved as favorites.

Blogs
HCI members have access to simple, turn-key tools and are encouraged to publish personal blogs that are automatically indexed into the blogroll. Community leaders review and select interesting posts daily, to be featured in tracks, communities and on the home page. Talent Communities also publishes a daily feed of HCI's Top 100 Talent Management and Leadership Blogs.

Discussions
Discussions are an important platform for learning, collaboration and help. Members can initiate a discussion around any library asset, webcast or event, ask a question, or toss out an idea or opinion. HCI's community leaders and expert advisors are standing by to stimulate the conversation and help members with insight and expertise.

Executive Workgroups
Executive Workgroups are private, senior-level forums that drive better decisions through peer-to-peer collaboration. The HCI Online Talent Communities provide workgroup members with proprietary research, discussions and tools, through a dedicated portal for each group.

Technology Center
HCI's Talent Management Technologies portal offers information, education, events and tools to help members select and implement new applications for workforce planning, sourcing and recruitment, candidate assessment, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, succession and advancement, offboarding and alumni systems.

Media Center
The Media Center offers several thousand video and audio files presented by expert practitioners, consultants and thought leaders, and spanning the lifecycle of talent strategy, acquisition, development and leadership.
