Problem-Solving Networks for Senior Executives

The HCI Masters Workgroup is a unique blend of classroom instruction, on-the job work projects, expert coaching, peer-to-peer learning, and online, on-demand content. It is a year-long program that begins with one of HCI’s classes and culminates in solving a real-world, pressing problem that is sitting on your desk, all powered and guided by HCI’s expert faculty, wealth of online resources, and a local network of HCI peer practitioners.

For additional information, or if you would like assistance with registration, please contact Shane Lennon anytime at 866.538.1909 x1904.

What's Included

  • Classroom Instruction
Workgroup members follow up either the Human Capital Strategist Course or the Strategic Workforce Planning Course with the corresponding Masters-level course and then begin attending workgroup meetings.
  • The Practicum
Practicums are real, on-the-job work projects selected by you to apply the knowledge contained in HCI’s courses to a current and pressing problem on your desk. Participants select a real-world talent challenge in their own organization, and then develop a business case analysis and implementation plan to successfully address it. The result: learning that actually knocks an item of your to-do list.
  • Consult with HCI Senior Faculty
A One-on-one meeting with one of HCI’s senior faculty members to form and plan the work project that will serve as the member’s practicum. HCI faculty have advised and taught hundreds of leading companies and executives within them in addition to bringing a wealth of personal and professional experience to bear.
  • A Peer Group
Workgroup participants meet with their national peer group as often as every three weeks or as little as twice a year. Staffed and facilitated by HCI faculty, meetings provide a valuable opportunity to get real-time feedback on the construction and completion of the practicum from a peer group working on similar problems and issues.
  • Online Resources
Enjoy an on-demand, all-access pass to HCI’s full library of insights and best practices, including 1,500 original and proprietary best practice videos from innovative companies, more than 100 keynote talks from HCI conferences featuring some of the most important thinkers in the field, more than 300 five-minute interviews with leading practitioners and thinkers, and more than 25 interactive conversations with respected executive coaches, in addition to discounts to HCI’s conferences. Members use this resource to tap into insight and best practices relevant to their practicum project
