The purpose of the survey was to provide insight into the following questions:
What kinds of talent will Columbus MSA employers need over the coming years?
- What will be the relative difﬁculty of recruiting, hiring and/or retaining the required talent?
- What are the barriers to obtaining and retaining this talent?
- What are the perceived strengths and weaknesses of the Columbus MSA that impact its ability to attract and retain the needed talent?
- Who are Columbus’s competitors in the contest for talent, what factors draw talent from the Columbus MSA to them, and what factors tend to keep talent in the Columbus MSA?
