Charles Handler, Ph.D., is the president and founder of Rocket-Hire, a consultancy dedicated to helping organizations use technology and best practices to build effective, legally sound employee selection systems. Dr. Handler is an internationally known thought leader in the development of online screening and assessment technology. Since starting Rocket-Hire, he has specialized in partnering with customers to develop strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the employee selection process. In addition to Internet based hiring practices, Charles has also conducted extensive survey work and created training/development and performance management systems for a variety of companies. Dr. Handler is a regular columnist for the Electronic Recruiting Exchange, Workforce Management Magazine and SHRM's Employment Management Today Magazine. Dr. Handler has also played an active role in education, serving as a member of Tulane University's Business Studies faculty, where he currently teaches Recruitment and Selection and other HR related topics. He is a subject matter expert on best practices for employee selection and has served as a speaker for the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology's annual conference, the Electronic Recruiting Exchange Annual Expo and a numerous other conferences and workshops.

Dr. Ken Lahti completed his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Colorado State University and has worked in the field of assessment and selection for over 10 years. In that time, Ken has worked with hundreds of organizations and has held a variety of roles including consulting, applied research, sales support, and management that collectively provide a unique perspective regarding talent management tools, technologies, and best practices. In his career, Ken has developed: personality, ability, and achievement tests; organizational culture surveys; performance evaluations; and behavioral simulations. In addition, he has taught university courses including psychometrics and graduate-level statistics. His professional and research interests include talent strategy, program evaluation and ROI, strategic selection system design, executive vision and leadership processes, and employee citizenship and job performance. Ken is a noted speaker in his profession and within the broader HR community, presenting at conferences and/or webcasts hosted by organizations such as SHRM, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Human Capital Institute, the American Psychological Association, Best Practices Institute, Talent Management Magazine, HR.com, and industry events such as the IQPC Call Center Summit and Frost & Sullivan's Customer Contact West.
