Susan Foley has spent the last 20 years of her career helping Fortune 1000 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups build new growth businesses that have generated millions of dollars. As an experienced corporate entrepreneur, she understands first hand the challenges of building an entrepreneurial environment for growth.Foley believes that many corporations do not fully understand the value of developing corporate entrepreneurship as a core competency. Her company, Corporate Entrepreneurs, LLC, was created to help change that. Recognizing that entrepreneurial leaders possess unique combinations of competencies that distinguish them from traditional leaders, and realizing that many corporate entrepreneurs were leaving large corporations because they were not being given opportunities to leverage their skills, she authored, "Entrepreneurs Inside: Accelerating Business Growth With Corporate Entrepreneurs" to tell their story. In addition to being the founder of Corporate Entrepreneurs, Foley is also the executive director of research centers at Babson Executive Education. In this role, she is responsible for the Working Knowledge, Process Management, and Business Innovation research centers. The research centers are a sponsor driven group of organizations interested in advancing their knowledge and the application of "best practices" in their organizations; knowledge, process and innovation. Previously, Foley has held senior positions at 3M, HP, Digital Equipment, Standard & Poor's, DMR and Arthur D. Little.
