To paraphrase "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner": Info, info everywhere and not a drop to use. Technology has advanced to a state where we, as people, can gather scandalous amounts of private information about someone else with just a few keystrokes and clicks. Yet we, as Employers, must safeguard our hiring from well-meaning, but risky practices, as well as from legitimately unacceptable behavior.
What candidate information can we use to make hiring decisions? How can we obtain the right data? It may be obvious to know when criminal and drug tests are appropriate, but what about medical or credit exams? We'll closely examine the nuanced world of pre-employment testing in this webcast.
