Presenters

Carly Goldsmith has been with Deloitte since October 2000 and has over 10 years of HR, recruiting and coaching experience, previously working for New York Newsday and Manpower International. Since May 2003, Carly has been an Internal Coach on the Coaching, Internal Mobility and Career Development team. She has a dual focus providing career coaching as well as management & leadership coaching.

Blaze is a Senior Manager in Deloitte's Coaching, Internal Mobility and Career Development center of expertise. He originally joined Deloitte in 1997 in Chicago where he served as an Experienced Hire Recruiting Manager for the Midwest Region. In 1999, he transferred to Sydney, Australia where he became the HR and Recruiting Manager for Deloitte's New South Wales Tax Practice. Blaze returned to the US and joined the internal coaching team in 2003. After serving as a Coach, Blaze led the creation of the Management & Leadership Coaching service area in 2006.The Management & Leadership Coaching service area utilizes a team of highly trained internal professional coaches to help Managers, Senior Managers, Partners, Principles, and Directors develop the skills needed for success as leaders at Deloitte. Under Blaze's leadership the Management & Leadership Coaching team has successfully coached over 800 Deloitte leaders. In addition to leading the Management & Leadership Coaching team, Blaze's current activities focus on further integrating and aligning all aspects of Deloitte's coaching practice with the business and talent strategies. In addition to his experience with talent acquisition and development, Blaze has 2 years of clinical counseling experience working with several different populations on an individual and group basis.While in a Deloitte Chicago Experienced Hire Recruiter role, Blaze received a 1999 National Leadership award for his contributions. Blaze has undergraduate degrees in English and History from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. Blaze is a member of the Association for Psychological Type and International Coaching Federation. He is qualified to administer and interpret most coaching, vocational and personality assessment tools including, but not limited to, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Lominger Leadership Architect Suite or tools.
