Max Caldwell is the managing director of Towers Watson¡¦s North America Workforce Insights & Technology line of business. This business combines data, analytics, software and consulting to enable more intelligent management of human capital. The offerings in Workforce Insights & Technology include employee opinion surveys, compensation databases, human capital metrics, talent and reward software and personalized web communication. Max joined Towers Perrin in 1993, which merged with Watson Wyatt on January 1, 2010 to form Towers Watson & Company. He is based in the New York office.
In over 20 years of consulting to business leaders, Max has focused on improving business performance through enhancing talent, rewards and human resource function effectiveness. During Max¡¦s tenure with Towers Watson he has served as the global leader of the Workforce Effectiveness and change management practices. He has also helped to lead Towers Watson¡¦s landmark Global Workforce Study, the most extensive research of its kind on what attracts, retains and engages workers around the world.

Max is a member of the advisory board of the Human Capital Institute, a leading global organization dedicated to advancing thought leadership in the area of talent management. He has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences and has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, CNN, NPR, the BBC and others on a variety of leadership and workforce-related topics. He was also one of the people featured in a 2008 TIME Magazine article entitled ¡§The Rage to Engage¡¨ about engaging workers to enhance productivity and performance. He holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Connecticut, Storrs and has completed professional studies in the area of leadership effectiveness.

Julie Gebauer leads Towers Perrin's global Workforce Effectiveness Practice and the global Towers Perrin-ISR line of business. She is a member of the firm's Human Capital Group (HCG) Operations Council, the leadership body for the HCG business segment. She consults on a broad range of HR issues, including workforce analytics, human capital strategy, talent management and total rewards. She has worked with many global companies on a wide range of HR issues. She assists organizations in evaluating workforce needs and gaps, and developing and implementing talent management and total reward strategies to support business goals.
