Webcast:
What is so hard about global leadership? Why is it that leaders who may be very successful in their home front, can fail in a big way when dealing with people from other parts of the world? What does it take to be successful as a global leader? This presentation focuses on these questions and introduces the concept of Global Mindset. Dr. Javidan explains what the concept is and how and why it is a key success factor in global leadership. He will also introduce the Global Mindset Inventory (GMI), an internet based instrument designed to measure an individual's profile of Global Mindset. He will share a few findings based on a data base of over 6500 managers in many countries who have completed the survey. This presentation is a preview of his upcoming article on the same topic in Harvard Business Review in April.
