George is currently Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Learning Officer for Memorial Hospital and Health System, in South Bend, Indiana. Prior to his current position he was Senior Vise President and Executive Director of Adult Patient Services at Memorial Hospital. He served as an Adjunct Faculty at Indiana University South Bend and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Prior to coming to South Bend in 1980, he was Director of Physical Therapy at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for nine years.

During two decades of service as a senior executive of Baptist Health Care (a Fortune 100 Best Places to Work organization and a Baldrige National Quality program recipient) she had responsibility for the strategic direction, operational planning, and overall leadership for both existing and start-up businesses within the corporation. She founded a nationally respected consulting firm, the Baptist Health Care Leadership Institute, that assisted more than 500 organizations in achieving high levels of patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
In 2007 she received the Individual Professional Excellence Award from AHA's Society for
Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and was named one of the Top 100 People in
Leadership Development by Leadership Excellence in 2008.
