Presenters

Shawn Fitzgerald is the HR Global Technology Coordination Leader with Hewitt. She has been with Hewitt for 5 years. Her passion is enabling technology solutions with a people-centered focus. In Shawn's current role she partners with the Global Technology team on strategic process, tools, and technology. She was the program manager for the Hewitt Alumni Network implementation and directed our global change management initiatives for our HCM software implementation. She is currently leading the Hewitt Global Employment Brand project and directing our HR technology portfolio projects. Her background is in HR management/employee relations, HR technology, analytics, and training. She has a BA and MBA from Dominican University and holds SPHR and PMP certifications. She is the current co-chair of the HRMAC HRMS Committee and is the former president of the PeopleSoft Midwest Regional Users group. Shawn is also a past speaker at Oracle Open World, PeopleSoft Connect, the IQPC Workforce Analytics Conference, HR Technology Conference, Northwest Internal Consultant's Professional Development Network, IHRIM Global Conference, and various HRMAC member sessions.

Erin Peterson leads Global Talent Acquisition for Hewitt Associates, the leader in HR Outsourcing and Consulting based in Lincolnshire, Illinois. She founded Codega RPC in 2008 to help global organizations achieve effective and efficient recruitment results through people, technology, and processes, and started working with several clients, including Hewitt. In December 2008, Erin joined Hewitt as an associate to continue her strategic and tactical work there long term. Erin was previously a partner with Lantern Partners (www.lanternpartners.com) in Chicago, specializing in retained senior executive recruitment for professional services firms, including business process outsourcing (BPO) providers, as well as industrial/manufacturing companies.With Arthur Andersen & Co., Andersen Consulting, and Accenture from 1987-2006, Erin gained HR and recruiting depth through progressive roles in North America and Europe. With Accenture HR services, Erin helped develop new business and managed large scale recruitment outsourcing operations in the US and India. With Andersen Consulting, she recruited entry-level, mid-level, and executive consultants in the US and Europe across all industries and managed recruitment teams and initiatives to build capability globally. She lived and worked in Europe from 1998-2001. Originally from Minneapolis, Erin has a BA in Psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She resides in suburban Chicago with her family.
