Last year, HCI and The MIX partnered to develop the first-ever award for Human Capital and Talent Management – The Human Capital M-Prize. We asked you – our 190,000+ members who represent the most progressive, most cutting-edge, human capital practitioners out there to submit your most bold new ideas or radical solutions to engagement and passion in our current workforces. You responded loud and clear with over 90 fantastic entries!
This year, HCI and The MIX are back at it again – we’re asking you a new question for this year’s M-Prize and we’re expecting an even larger, greater response. The HCI Human Capital M-Prize will focus on Leadership and is particularly looking for stories (real-world case studies of a single practice, an initiative, or a broad-based transformation) and hacks (disruptive ideas, radical fixes or experimental designs) about new leadership development models.
The central question for each of you (potential M-Prize winners) is: How do you develop great leaders in your organization? In other words, do you work for (or know of) an organization that creates leaders who others are eager to follow?
Talent professionals need to radically rethink their approach to leadership development in order to match the new economy and new way of working in the 21st century. The ultimate goal of this M-Prize is to capture ideas and examples that can inspire and instruct talent professionals in their quest to build organizations that encourage leadership gifts of everyone, everyday.
Share your stories and hacks with us! The winners will receive a free trip to the 2012 Human Capital Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona from March 5-7. For more information on the M-Prize topic of leadership, some good questions to get you started, and to see early entries – visit the MIX's website, here.
If you participate now, you have an opportunity to take advantage of our new promotion which will award a free virtual conference pass to the upcoming (and totally topical) HCI Learning & Leadership conference November 16-18. We will award these passes to the most popular story or hack submitted each week, beginning September 12th.
Participate now! We’d love to hear from you!
