Employers everywhere use some form of candidate assessment: pre-employment personality tests, phone screens, interviews. Assessment is standard practice amongst hiring the rank and file, so it should be similarly in hiring executives, right? These are the people entrusted to make the most strategic decisions for the organization, after all. Leadership assessments help ensure that good hiring decisions are made and should be just as rigorous as hiring at the entry level.
This webcast will look at the concept of leadership and the impact of good leadership on organizational performance, with a critical overview of the methods traditionally used to select leaders as well as a discussion of the unique parameters that differentiate leadership assessment from the assessment strategy used for other jobs. Finally, we'll review the newest models and techniques for leadership assessment and will discuss best practices for leadership assessments.
