Learning Means Business: Lessons from Award-winning Learning Initiatives

Kym is a member of the Market Strategy Team where she is a National Director, responsible for leading the US Firm's Coaching and Development efforts. As the leader for this initiative, Kym works with the US Markets, HR community, Lines of Service leaders, and Firm senior leadership to ensure that the key elements to creating a high performance based culture are understood and practiced. Collaborating with the HR Strategy Team, Kym created the "Everyday Coaching" platform which was the launching pad for our internal coaching videos, "The Firm" and sponsors a coaching curriculum, workshops and an internal coaching instructor certification program for HR professionals. Kym holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Howard University and MBA in Marketing and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business. She is ACC certified with ICF (International Coaches Federation).

Lila Levy is one of five in PwC's Learning and Education organization who focuses on Instructor Development, specifically standardizing instructor innovation, preparation and quality in an effort to convert classroom "presenters" into "facilitators of learning." With a five year focus on the firm's Everyday Coaching culture, Lila brought master coach expertise inhouse and now supports the 250 instructors who are "coach to the coaches" in our markets. She developed elearning and market-based coaching practice courses that leveraged "The Firm" intranet video webisodes used also for awareness and recruiting. PwC was recognized for this effort at Brandon Hall Innovations in Learning 2008 conference with the Gold Award for best use of video for learning. Lila earned her MEd in Psychometrics from Georgia State in 1986, is MBTI certified, and is a certified online instructor through the Walden Institute.
