Webcast:
Do managers make a difference? Much more than many organizations realize, and in ways few fully understand. One of the authors of Manager Redefined: The Competitive Advantage in the Middle of Your Organization, Tom Davenport, will present a fresh look at the archetypal role of the manager. Drawing on research and case examples from the book, Tom challenges conventional assumptions about the role of managers. He will describe how managers can play a pivotal role in increasing and sustaining employee engagement and in helping organizations focus talent’s energy on achieving high performance. How? By managing everything except people- learn about the four-part performance model that sets forth what managers really need to do well: Executing Tasks, Developing People, Delivering the Deal and Energizing Change. If you develop or lead managers or manage talent, this webcast is for you!
