The candidate lifecycle for most employers can be simplified into the following steps: attraction, indication of interest, selection, negotiation, and hire. Organizations then prioritize where to spend their most effort- somewhat arbitrarily, and don't usually account for differentiation in the process. Every candidate is subjected to the same treatment.
But how can this system account for the variance in the heterogeneous candidate pool? Additionally, how are employers successfully designing their processes for the valuable "passive" candidate that takes up anywhere from 40-70% of the overall labor force? In this webcast we'll hear how major organizations are optimizing their candidate lifecycles and ensuring the passive pipeline.

Angela was born and brought up in the United Kingdom. She grew up near Cambridge and studied in North Wales. Having graduated with a degree in Psychology, Angela began working for an advertising and recruiting firm in London. She quickly focused all her attention on recruiting and worked for a number of boutique search firms before joining a start-up outplacement company where she stayed for three years in a client services/business development role.In 1995, Angela joined Heidrick & Struggles, a premier global executive search firm. Initially a research associate she rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a Principal in the Retail & Consumer Practice. While in London, Angela was also responsible for the recruitment and professional development of the research team of thirty. In 1999, she transferred to Los Angeles to focus on building Heidrick & Struggles' consumer and entertainment-related business in Southern California.In 2003, Angela joined Fox Networks Group (FNG) as Vice President, Talent Acquisition to establish their first in-house recruiting function. Applying the principles of executive search to talent acquisition, she and her team have established a department that services FNG - approximately 4000 employees in eighteen locations. The team recruits at all levels, is responsible for hiring all exempt and non-exempt employees; orienting new hires and has established FNG's intern program which helps develop the diverse talent of tomorrow. Angela has also been involved with the launch of Fox Interactive Media, Hulu.com (JV with NBCU), and six cable channels.Internal clients include: Fox Broadcasting Company; Fox Cable Networks; Fox Sports; Fox Sports Net; Speed; National Geographic Channel; FX; Fuel TV; Fox Movie Channel; Fox Reality; Fox Soccer Channel; Fox Sports en Espanol; Big Ten Network, Fox Digital Media; Beliefnet and Networks Engineering and Operations.
