Personality assessments are becoming increasingly popular as an employee selection method. They are effective predictors of employee performance across a wide variety of jobs and they produce less adverse impact than many other selection techniques.
The overall global employment assessment market is worth about $2 Billion, with the use of personality assessments typically increasing by 10% - 20% annually. While they were once used almost exclusively as an additional screening mechanism in the hiring process, companies are now using these tools across the full employee lifecycle. Their use has expanded into other critical areas, such as on-boarding, leadership identification and development, succession planning, organizational change and design (including mergers & acquisitions), and team-building.
This webcast will: (a) briefly review the role of personality in the workplace, (b) highlight how a number of organizations are using personality assessments to improve individual, team and organizational performance, and (c) provide audience participants with a “shopping list” of things to look for when considering the purchase of a personality assessment.
