Brian Penner is the Director of Assessment and Selection for Prudential. In 2008, he joined Prudential to re-establish the company’s assessment program for selection. He is responsible for designing, implementing and driving the execution of hiring assessment programs to ensure the company is positioned to select quality talent. For over 10 years, Brian’s consulting focus has been on individual and organization assessment and development to help companies achieve success by using science with common sense application. He has worked as a senior consultant for both shl and the Hay Group, as well as spent time as a Psychometrician in the public safety arena. He maintains an active role in his profession of Industrial/Organizational Psychology by contributing to professional conferences and in the past has taught undergraduate courses in psychology.

Dr. Ken Lahti completed his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Colorado State University and has worked in the field of assessment and selection for over a decade. As Vice President of Product Development and Innovation, Ken merges commercial strategy with scientific innovation and oversees research and development of SHL’s industry-leading assessment products. Ken is a noted speaker in his profession, presenting at conferences and webcasts hosted by organizations such as Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Talent Management Magazine, Human Capital Institute, SHRM, and HR.com.
