Presenters

Christine (Chris) Talbot joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002 as the Human Resource function began a transformational journey to establish shared services. Her own work at KP has been the introduction and development of the strategic HR Business Partner role for an evolving set of national business functions which serve the broader healthcare delivery and insurance organization. Chris brings significant human resources leadership experience to Kaiser, formerly serving as Senior Director, Human Resources-Information Technology and Corporate Functions at Qwest Communications in Denver through a post-merger period. Previously, she spent 6 years at SBC/Ameritech in Illinois, where she held HR positions of increasing responsibility as the five state Bell Operating Company engaged in a Breakthrough transformation period leading to its merger with SBC.. Ultimately, as Executive Director of HR, Chris oversaw merger/integration activities that provided common vision and role clarity while implementing key process changes to serve 17,000 IT employees in a post-multiple merger era. Chris earned a B.A. in psychology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and completed graduate coursework in human resources/organizational behavior at Benedictine University, in Illinois.

Albert (Al) Maggio is the director of Learning & Development at Kaiser Permanente responsible for the design, development and delivery of learning programs for KP National Functions. Al's prior work in educational technology includes; creation of the ComputerLand Television Network, Instructional Systems Television Network for Vanstar Corp., UniverseCity, the first online learning network for Cisco Systems and the Kaiser Permanente Learning Institute.

Lisa Williams joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008 as the Executive Director for the Health Plan Institute, the health plan's training and knowledge management resource. In this role, Lisa has responsibility for serving a broad audience including sales, account management, underwriting, marketing, service and administration. She also manages the intranet site for the health plan. Lisa has a broad background and experience in human resources, organizational development, strategy, marketing, product/service innovation and leading the customer experience. Prior to joining Kaiser, Lisa spent several years at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in Novato, CA where she held a variety of leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Lisa earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and has process improvement designations, including Six-Sigma Blackbelt.

I have read the whole of the article. I was having some doubts which I need to be cleared. I have searched the Q& A and found some of the answers. Lisa is a great person who have deep understanding about the subject that she has handled.
