Ms. LeBeau is a shareholder with the Firm, where she focuses her practice on litigation defense and counseling in the employment arena. Ms. LeBeau has broad experience in litigating matters before courts and administrative agencies, including Federal, state trial and appellate courts, Administrative agencies including the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, EEOC, and US Department of Labor as well as in arbitrations and mediations. Ms. LeBeau has extensive experience in representing employers in various business sectors in employment litigation, arbitration, mediation and personnel counseling, on topics including worker classification, all aspects of discrimination claims (age, disability, race, gender, pregnancy, national origin, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation), sexual harassment, retaliation, FMLA and ADA, WARN Act issues, wage and hour compliance, wrongful discharge, employment contract negotiation and disputes, non-compete agreements, defamation and other employment torts. Ms. LeBeau has also counseled and represented clients regarding plant closings, corporate reorganizations, corporate down/right sizing. Ms. LeBeau also works closely with clients to identify and implement the necessary steps to prevent or minimize future employment related liabilities. She has provided training on a variety of topics to employers in various business sectors and serves as a lecturer for Lorman Education Services on employment law issues.
