Webcast:
As organizations place greater importance on retaining, engaging, motivating and developing talent, formal onboarding strategies and processes from pre- through post-hire are becoming a competitive necessity. While 86% of organizations agree that employees decide to stay within the first six months of signing on, 61% either don't offer a formal onboarding program or end their onboarding program within one month (Aberdeen 2008). The pressure to retain talent and further productivity has never been greater, and is driving the vast majority of organizations to take a more strategic and proactive twist far beyond traditional employee orientations to set the stage for performance deliverables. This webcast will cover Best-in-Class practices in onboarding from 800 global organizations recently surveyed by the Aberdeen Group. HCI members attending will receive a complimentary copy of this latest Aberdeen Research, "All Aboard: Effective Onboarding Techniques and Strategies."
