Webcast:
Despite an economy that has shown signs of growth in recent years and the ever-trumpeted "War for Talent," college students entering the job market this summer are finding a labor market that is every bit as muddled as that of years past. Phil Gardner of Michigan State University joined us in the last webcast in this series to discuss his annual Recruiting Trends Survey. Gardner predicted that the very best students would find themselves in high demand this year but that others who took too long to begin their job search would find a long process ahead of them.
This webcast will look at the college recruitment process through the eyes of this year's senior class. What kinds of things seemed to work on campus from their perspective...and which ones didn't? Are there new dynamics at work in how students evaluate prospective employers? Are meddlesome helicopter parents a reality or an overblown anomaly? Please join us and take advantage of an opportunity to find out the answers to these questions from the source.
