In 2011, the Human Capital Institute and Kelly Services began new research into the supply chain of talent: specifically, how organizations understand where, why and how they will use all types of talent, including contract talent. The research partners wanted to gain insight into how employers evaluate both their unique supply of and demand for talent. Additionally, it was key to the project to gain a better understanding of how companies find that talent.
The research took the form of a survey instrument, aggregating the responses of several hundred talent management practitioners, secondary research into this aspect of human capital, and expert interviews with leading thinkers and practitioners. This webcast will share the key findings of the research, and two leading thinkers on the subject of the supply chain of talent and contingent workforce management will share their unique perspectives.
