John Furcon is a principal at Buck Consultants with more than 30 years of domestic and international human resource management consulting experience focused on achieving desired organizational transformation and more effective performance. John has completed a number of recruiting, selection, and onboarding initiatives at both private and public sector organizations aimed at accelerating performance contribution and improving retention of key staff. He also has extensive experience in creating and implementing performance management, coaching, and management development programs. His recent GlobalView article on Workforce Engagement and Retention examined the employment "deal" expectations of the four generations in the U.S. labor force.

Chantel Sheaks is a Principal, Government Affairs, in the Research, Survey, and Knowledge Management (RSKM) group. Chantel is located in the Washington, D.C. office of Buck Consultants, an ACS company. Her responsibilities include serving as one of our pre-eminent technical experts and spokespersons in regard to Buck's interpretation of and position on regulations, legislation, and court decisions.In addition, Chantel develops and maintains working relationships with governmental staff, legislative staff, legislators, and employee benefits industry leaders. She also participates in industry groups on behalf of the firm. Chantel serves as a contributing member of the Publications group regarding external and internal technical publications, and other thought leadership activities.
