Manager of the Organizational Development department, Ray has the responsibility of providing developmental options for the 5000 Ace Hardware Corporation employees. These opportunities include a multifaceted Ace University, computer based training, assessment centers, and numerous facilitator led courses. Ace's OD department has grown from a one person operation in 2000 to the present 5 member team. The success of the ACE OD department began when management teambuilding processes resulted in improved production numbers. Most recently, Ray and the OD team has been focusing on officer and high potential development. This leadership development effort is directly linked to a company wide initiative on the managing of change. Ray has been in organizational development for over 15 years while holding positions in manufacturing and distribution companies. For three years, he ran a successful consulting firm.
