With the initial proxy season under the SEC's new compensation disclosure rules now ended, companies are evaluating their experience with the new requirements and responding to feedback from investors and regulators as they begin to prepare their 2008 disclosure. The new rules resulted in the presentation of more extensive and detailed information in 2007 than ever before in the new Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CD&A) and the revised and expanded disclosure tables and accompanying narratives.
