What skills and competencies are most essential for the success of business leaders in global organizations? We asked Ken Finneran, Chief People Officer at Hellemann Worldwide Logistics. According to Finneran, effective leaders are described very differently across the globe and organizations should be aware of the fact that a German's description of his favorite manager will sound very different from that of Mexican's on the surface. However, the core attributes of effective leadership do tend to be universal once we adjust for differences in language and culture.
