Dr. Jac is acknowledged as the father of human capital analytics. In the 1970s he carried out the original research that led to his publication of the first HR metrics in 1978 and benchmarks in 1985.Recently, Dr. Fitz-enz was honored by the Society of Human Resources Management as one of 50 people who, in the past 50 years, have "significantly changed" how organizations manage people.Dr. Jac has published over 225 articles, reports and book chapters and 8 books on measurement and management. He has trained more than 85,000 managers in 40 countries. His seminal work is the foundation for most current metrics programs.In 2003 he launched Human Capital Source and the Workforce Intelligence Institute to focus human capital measurement on business results. He is the publisher of the semi-annual Workforce Intelligence Report featuring best practices from 700 companies and 60 research centers.He is currently heading a task force of 20 companies building the first, integrated, predictive, human capital planning and management system.
