Since 2005, HCI has trained or certified more than 8,000 professionals in 200 companies in a host of issues areas. All HCI courses present original frameworks and diagnostics, tools, templates and best practices from leading organizations, and are taught onsite or online by HCI’s expert faculty.

Building Meaningful Analytics (BMA)
Pushes participants and their companies to go beyond benchmarks and metrics to construct meaningful, actionable analytics and business intelligence, drawing from case examples from Microsoft, P&G, Sysco, Harrah’s and Best Buy. Each session culminates in a company-specific balanced scorecard constructed by class participants, guided by expert faculty.
Engagement, Collaboration and Retention (ECR)
ECR graduates return to the workplace with new paradigms, new ideas, and new tools to create a talent-centric culture and effective engagement and retention practices that dramatically increase performance, productivity and financial return.
Global Human Capital Strategist (GHCS)
Developed in partnership with an advisory board of HCI members from Pepsi and General Mills, as well as faculty from the likes of Cornell University, this course focuses on how to successfully manage the tension between global standardization and local customization in areas such as company culture, talent acquisition and performance management.
Human Capital Strategist (HCS)
HCS is the recognized credential for strategic knowledge in talent management, and is an important career achievement for human resources, organizational development, recruitment, corporate learning and line executives.
Strategic Talent Leadership (STL)
Management practices in today’s global economy are rapidly evolving. STL teaches the paradigms, new competencies and next practices that transform industrial economy managers into 21st century talent leaders.
Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP)
HCI SWP is the first professional certification in this critical competency. Graduates demonstrate proficiency in planning, metrics and related analytics, as well as a qualitative decision framework that underlies organizational strategy.
Unleashing the Power of Innovation (UPI)
Focuses on tangible, practical steps to create and support a culture of innovation, drawing on case examples from companies like WL Gore, P&G, Apple and Virgin. Participants conclude the class with a company-specific playbook for managing the human capital side of business innovation in their organizations.
