Alexandra V. Woolley, MBA, SPHR, is the Head of Global Strategic Capabilities at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.  Alexandra leads the effort to identify and develop the strategic capabilities (people, process, technology) and culture required for GSK to execute its business strategies. She has nearly 20 years of experience in both internal and external consulting in the areas of enterprise transformation, human performance, talent management, and leadership development. 

Prior to her work at GSK, Alexandra spent 11 years as a management consultant at Accenture with a focus on organization and change strategy, enterprise transformation, and human performance. Following Accenture, Alexandra was an organization development director at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer). In that role she was accountable for supporting the pharmaceuticals division, emerging markets, and R&D. In addition, she was accountable for managing the high-potential leadership development program in R&D.
