Chris Hester started his career with Accenture and joined Capital One in 2002. Since his first assignment, his career has been focused on supporting Human Resources processes and systems. Chris holds a BA from Duke University and resides in Richmond, Virginia.
At Capital One, he managed HR Technology before moving into HR to lead Talent Acquisition Operations. Chris is a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership team and is accountable for Risk, Compliance, and Quality, Vendor/System Operations, Candidate Help/Experience, Referrals, Project/Process Management, Workday Recruiting, and coordination of Interview Logistics.
Over the last 3 years, Chris served as the Technology Lead for all Workday implementation efforts, including Workday Recruiting.
Chris’ experience includes developing and implementing HR Technology strategies, systems implementations/upgrades, and support of global HR systems. Chris has negotiated ~50 vendor partnerships and demonstrates deep expertise related to Third Party Management – Operational/SLA metrics and accountability, Information Security Considerations, and Vendor Improvement Plans.
