Doug Shagam is a Vice President at Nielsen and has responsibility for our internal analytics and transformation initiatives. Since joining Nielsen in March 2008 Doug has served in various capacities throughout our business lines and locations. His first role was as a Master Black Belt. He later led a $4MM expense-out global transformation and then managed the Finance Shared Service centers.
Prior to joining Nielsen, Doug was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton leading organizational change initiatives. Prior employers include ABN Amro, Bombardier Inc, and General Electric.
Doug holds a BA in Political Science and an MBA (Finance) from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is an active board member of Investing-in-Kids (INK!) – The St Johns County (FL) Education Foundation.
