Deborah Konitsney has been with Kaiser Permanente for 25 years and is the Director of Organizational Research. In this role, Deborah’s primary responsibilities include working directly with senior leadership to provide action-oriented research, evaluation programs and workforce metrics that impact Kaiser Permanente’s ability to improve its workforce, customer service and care, and compete in the healthcare marketplace.
Over the years, Deborah has partnered with key stakeholders to plan and implement research that supports, evaluates and provides critical feedback on national strategic initiatives such as the Kaiser Permanente Labor Management Partnership and Unit Based Teams, Healthy Workforce, People Strategy and other key strategic priorities. She is the enterprise lead for the People Pulse survey and chair of the People Pulse Strategy Team. She values helping managers and leaders take action on research findings to create organizational success.
Deborah holds a B.A in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from The Ohio State University. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of California.
