Gena Cox, Ph.D. is an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist with IBM Talent Management Solutions and Kenexa. Her areas of expertise include employee experience, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, assessment and selection, and executive development. Gena has advised organizationsacross multiple industries and geographies and has worked as corporate HR leader, a consulting psychologist, an executive coach, and as an adjunct college professor of human resources.At IBM, Gena helps clients create work environments in which employees can thrive and customers feel connected to the business; the science shows that businesses are likely to achieve greater financial outcomes when these two human factors are aligned. Gena earned a Ph.D. in Industrial-OrganizationalPsychology from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) the Society of Consulting Psychology, the American Psychological Association and the International Coach Federation.
