Jennifer Sharp loves being called an “HR Rebel”. She is always thinking about what the future holds, the possibilities and what’s next, and who can she recruit to come along on her next adventure. Originally, she didn’t intend to go into HR, but it sort of chose her. She was likely a travel agent or a meteorologist in another life. Today, she’s the AVP of Human Resources, at Symetra in Bellevue, Washington. Jen leads the Talent Management team that is made up of HR Business Partners and Generalists, the Talent Development team, and the Talent Acquisition team.
Jen graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Gonzaga University. At home, she has 4 boys (her husband included) and loves to listen to (loud) music and plan the Sharp Family’s next “big adventure”.
