Joelle LaGuerre

HCI Faculty

Joelle began her learning and development career in the non-profit sector
in her hometown of Miami, Florida. Since then, she has worked in various
training and organizational development roles in private industry, higher
education, and the federal government. Most recently, she led the learning
and development function at an AM Law 100 law firm in Washington DC,
where she now resides.

She is now an independent consultant—a Certified Professional in
Learning & Performance (CPLP)—most passionate about helping
organizations and teams to plan for the strategic development of their
employees. Joelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial/Organizational
Psychology from Oakwood University as well as a graduate certificate in
Leadership Development from George Washington University. She is also
a certified MBTI© administrator and a certified True Colors facilitator.
