Julie has been with Stanford's Learning & Organizational Effectiveness team since July of 2012 as a Talent Portfolio Manager. She is the project manager for the Manager Academy program, a three month developmental program for managers at Stanford being piloted this year.
Prior to working at Stanford, Julie spent six year at Development Dimensions International, a talent management consulting company. There, she worked primarily with large, global corporations, helping them with all aspects of talent management, including improving their hiring processes, to leadership development, talent assessment, high-potential identification and development, and succession planning. She has her Ph.D. in social psychology from Stanford, and a B.A., also in psychology, from Dartmouth College. Outside of work, Julie enjoys singing, and spending time with her husband and two children.
