Rob Ollander-Krane is the Director of Talent Planning and Performance at Gap Inc. Gap Inc. is comprised of 5 brands (Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta and Intermix) and employees 140,000 people in over 40 countries. Since joining Gap Inc. in 2007, Rob has held a variety of management positions in learning and development, HR and talent management. Since assuming his current role in 2013, he has focused on reinventing Gap Inc.’s performance management process, with an increase emphasis on performance and less emphasis on management. Prior to joining Gap Inc., Ollander-Krane held a variety of training-related positions at Levi Strauss, DFS Galleria and Macy’s West. He has also serves as a development coach and instructional designer for the Gap Inc. Leadership Initiative, a program designed to provide leadership capability building to non-profit organizations that cater to youth, and as a faculty member for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
