Under Susan’s guidance, Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute has grown by 300%. She is known for building and maintaining strategic relationships with organizations worldwide, and she has proven in-depth experience designing and implementing targeted leadership initiatives focused on advancing women leaders.
 
A student of relationship and conflict management, Susan has become a sought-after coach for busy male and female executives alike. Pragmatic and direct, Susan’s coaching philosophy rests on the premise that behavior change comes from understanding the specific behaviors that may be preventing leaders from operating at their highest level of performance and then focusing on these behaviors in a deep and practical way. Susan’s business acumen combined with her work in all aspects of relationship management helps her to balance the requirements for introspection and action. She is known for her ability to gain alignment among multiple stakeholders and for developing business-critical and revenue-producing relationships.
 
Susan has also worked as Institute Director and Conference Producer for Linkage, where she produced the Global Institute for Leadership Development™ and designed international executive conferences on leadership.  In 1999, Susan championed and co-founded Linkage’s Women in Leadership Summit™.
 
Prior to returning to Linkage, Susan served as the CEO of the Relational Life Institute, an educational services organization, and held leadership positions with two spin-offs of the Harvard Negotiation Project.
Susan earned her BA while on a theatre scholarship at Marietta College, and holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and Applied Behavioral Sciences from Ohio University.
 
She is also a contributing author of the book: Enlightened Power: How Women Are Transforming the Path to Leadership.
