Susan Hampton is Director, HR Excellence, for The Hershey Company. She serves as a member of Hershey’s HR leadership team and leads HR’s technology, process improvement, brand and communications, and analytics efforts. She is also Chief of Staff for Hershey’s Chief Human Resources Officer and oversees HR’s relationships with internal partners in Shared Services, Corporate Communications, Information Services, and the Law Department. Prior to this role, Hampton was Director, Talent Planning and Performance Management, where she was responsible for the design and delivery of core talent processes, including executive assessments, c-suite level succession planning, and Board-level talent reviews. Hampton’s broader talent experience includes leadership development, executive coaching, learning strategy, performance consulting, and training administration. Prior to joining the Hershey Company in 2011, Hampton was employed at Eli Lilly and Company, where she held learning and development leadership roles supporting research and development, global medical organization, and U.S. commercial business unit.
