Vidula Bal is Chief Learning Officer at Target. In this role she has the privilege of leading three distinct Learning & Development Teams that look after Leadership Development, Client Engagement, and Design & Operations. Under Vidula’s leadership, these teams collaborate with the business and each other to deliver relevant, meaningful, and effective learning to the over 300,000 team members who work at Target. Prior to joining Target, Vidula served as the Chief Learning Officer at Mars, Incorporated where she led a cross-functional Learning and Development team that supported 68,000 Mars associates worldwide. Early in her career Vidula was on the faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership. While on the faculty she designed and delivered leadership training and led a research project on the effectiveness of Executive Teams. Vidula holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.
