Amy M. Miller, MBA is currently the Head of the Organization Effectiveness Academy for Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals where she is responsible for developing innovative programs that build competencies at every level of the organization. Most recently, she was the Executive Director of a multi-site non-profit organization in Philadelphia, PA, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of organizational strategy, Leadership Team development, and organizational growth and development. Prior to that she was a Senior Project Manager for Fox Chase Cancer Center where she led multi-disciplinary teams on cross-functional process improvement initiatives, specifically focusing on development of innovative quality of care and service delivery improvements, as well as targeting patient safety initiatives. Amy also spent 7 years as President and CEO for CareSmart Solutions, Inc. where she worked with numerous healthcare delivery organizations, both in government and private sectors, partnering with them to develop Clinical Quality Improvement programs, methods and techniques for implementing, monitoring, and succeeding in quality and performance improvement activities.
In 2008, Amy was recognized as one of the ‘Top 20 under 40’ Business Leaders in Blair County, PA. In 2009, she and her Senior Management team were awarded the Excellence in Small Business award and appointed a seat on the Chamber Foundation Board of Directors.
Amy has served on numerous committees, including Fox Chase’s Patient and Family Advisory Committee (chairwoman), the Executive Roundtable of Blair County, and the Leadership Steering Committee of Blair County. She is also an active member of the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs, mid-Atlantic region.
Amy is a graduate of the M.B.A. program of American University and holds a Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma.
