Former Vice President, People Operations, Earls Kitchen + Bar

When Brenda Rigney joined Earls Kitchen + Bar in 2012, her mission was to transform the company's approach to HR. She now leads People Operations, a team that delivers people, process and technology solutions to Earls' restaurant operations. Not a typical HR team, members have specialties in operations, digital media, business intelligence, technology infrastructure and networks and software development. Rigney has extensive experience in retail operations and talent management within the retail, hospitality and video game development industries. She has held management positions with leading organizations such as Gap Inc., Aritzia and Vancity Credit Union. She has studied at the University of Western Ontario; University of California, Los Angeles; British Columbia Institute of Technology; Sauder School of Business; and USC Marshall School of Business.
