Catty Bennet Sattler is the Head of Division, Global Talent Management at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where she leads the global talent organization, leveraging talent initiatives as a key success differentiator. Catty is a global HR Executive with experience from 5 continents in private and public sector in various functions, ranging from talent management, strategy, diversity & engagement and leadership development to war crimes tribunals and peacekeeping. She has held several positions, including; Chief, Talent Development Unit, United Nations Development Programme, HR Strategy Chief, Talent Program Director, Siemens AG and Executive Officer to the UNICEF Deputy Executive Director.
A lawyer by training, Catty earned a Master’s in International Law at Lund University and Maastricht University and a postgraduate degree from University of Cape Town, South Africa. She has a Certificate in Change Management from Cornell University and Leadership Certifications from INSEAD and IMD. A native of Sweden, Catty lives with her husband and their two young children in Geneva, Switzerland.
