Cynthia Kolodzinski

Director, Global Training, Novo Nordisk Inc.

Cynthia’s career in the pharmaceutical industry and the field of Training & Development spans more than 20 years.  She has an extensive background in learning and proven ability to develop organizational talent, create strategic learning plans and curriculums that build organizational capability, drive performance and achieve desired business results.
Cynthia first began her career in 1991 at Novo Nordisk Inc., the US affiliate of Novo Nordisk A/S, the world’s leading diabetes care company.  She started as an instructional designer and then went on to become a National Sales Trainer and held several other training manager positions in support of NNI’s rapidly growing diabetes franchise.   
In 2001, Cynthia joined Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) and later became a member of the Global Learning & Organization Development Leadership Team where she was appointed the Global Learning Lead for their US Pharmaceuticals Division and two international business regions.  Her responsibilities included bringing technical and leadership development training to their employees across several continents including South America, Africa, the Middle East, and in multiple Asia-Pacific countries.  At BMS, Cynthia also held several other leadership positions including the Director of Enterprise-Wide and Corporate Functions Learning, Associate Director of Learning Services, and Associate Director of Instructional Design.  She was recognized as a key member of the BMS Global Learning Team who won the Chief Learning Officer, Learning Practice Award in 2010.    
Early in 2012, Cynthia returned to Novo Nordisk Inc. taking on a newly created position of Director, Global Training. She currently operates as a global liaison in the US, providing expert consultation and leveraging NNI’s best-in-class Talent Management tools, training programs and best practices and transferring them to international talent and business leaders across the globe. 
Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from East Stroudsburg University and has completed the Leadership Development for HR Professionals Program through the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs, CO.
