As the Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Verizon, Gerard leads a team responsible for delivering talent solutions, which include: recruitment delivery for the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions, college recruiting operations, and veteran recruitment programs. Gerard’s scope includes defining success and consistently driving performance through data and insights, team engagement strategies, resource planning, and ROI assurance.
Specifically, Gerard has been charged with building a top-tier recruiting organization, all while creating a positive candidate and stakeholder experience. On this journey, he has implemented an innovative recruiting model that is agile, scalable and able to transform with business demands within a constantly evolving market place. Gerard’s focus on effective delivery, has led to a notable increase in candidate and hiring manager satisfaction, year after year.
Gerard attained his Bachelor's degree from Rowan University and Master's degree from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!).
