Heather Houston has 20 years of human resources leadership in high growth companies. At Mosaic, Heather is the Vice President, People with responsibility for setting the strategy to develop and grow an engaged and inclusive workforce.
Heather has been head of Human Resources at several growth companies including two IPOs (Five9 and Synplicity) as well NanoGram, Bureau Veritas and Zyomyx. Heather holds a Bachelors of Business from Santa Clara University and an MBA in Strategic Management from California State University, East Bay.
Heather’s experience in Human Resources leadership includes strategy development, talent acquisition, talent management, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, training and development and compensation and benefits. As she is often the first person to hold the HR role in a company, she enjoys rolling up her sleeves and developing programs and processes to create a strong foundation for growth. She keeps culture top of mind with the knowledge that culture is continually evolving and shifting and requires constant attention to ensure it stays aligned with the company’s mission and values.
